About Us

The Renewability and Sustainability Society, RESUS, is the Renewable Engineering Society at the University of Southampton, focused on developing and promoting sustainable solutions. Through our project subdivisions we tackle modern problems in solar energy, transportation and wind turbine design, developing the technical skills of our members.

RESUS was founded by Alp Ortakci in 2021 and has since established itself as the leading society for renewable engineering at the University of Southampton, with over 100 members across 4 divisions and many degree programmes
